And So It Ends

This morning started off with much grooming, cleaning, and liberal application of Sparkles, all in preparation for the Grand Finale Riding Demonstration, which turned out to be rather well attended. Apparently at some point Dolly the Donkey committed an infraction which resulted in her being placed in Time Out. She made the best of it by getting Sparkled too.

Groundwork and riding exercises were explained and the results demonstrated. Unlike Dolly, the attendees were pretty well behaved and caused no major incidents with their continuous applause and incessant picture taking; the weather cooperated by being overcast.

Following was the Reception, with obligatory desserts, a light buffet, and of course, eight million sodastream sodas. Horsie Camp crafts were displayed, along with the not quite finished Slideshow. The Kommandant and I got flowers!

Not a lot of pictures today, sorry; apparently the Wild Man and his companions are now headed this way, so it's time to go back to the grocery store, and of course check the cold water supply!
