Tacky Clause visited!
It never gets cold here.
Well, not very often. So, tomorrow it'll get down to 20F. It's been kind of busy here in preparation.
The kids raided the garden last nite and got most of the peppers.
I picked two coolers full of lemons, ate most of the oranges and all of the kumquats this morning.
No Scurvy!
The lime and hibiscus have gallon jugs of water to hopefully protect their roots and are fully covered, as is the grapefruit. The lemons and and oranges have festive thrift shop sheets and old horse blankets variously employed in protection of their grafts:
