It continues to be unusually cool, and fairly benign. A couple days ago I was caught out on The Trails by a little thunder storm. It entered my stream of consciousness when SWA flew over at about 1000 feet; trust me, Red Screw Top was counting the rivets in the airframe. Fortunately, for me anyhow, she did not try to wave at the pilot; he looked pretty stylish in his dark sunglasses though. For a second I thought he was dropping off Kev and thought about telling his mom we'd have been happy to pick him up at the airport; because I was fearful of my life, there are no photos of a huge airliner flying over at just above treetop level.
The pictures don't really demonstrate the violence of the storm but the fallen tree might give you a pretty good idea:
